Obituary

SATANTA – Shaun Michael Bauer Hawley, 17, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, in Haskell County as a result of an auto accident.

He was born Jan. 12, 1993, to Gary and Darlene (Bauer) Hawley in Valentine, Neb.

He was to be a senior at Satanta High School this fall. He worked at Satanta Recreation.

He attended the Pleasant Prairie Church of God of Satanta.

He was in quiz bowl and a member of the FFA, both of Satanta.

He enjoyed playing football, basketball, bowling, softball, baseball and track and being with friends and family.

Survivors include his great-grandmother, Lucille Hart, Ord, Colo.; his grandparents, Dean and Lorraine Hawley, Sublette; his grandma, Janice Scripter, Valentine; his parents; his brother, Dean Wilson Hawley, Satanta; several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Bauer and Josetta Bauer.

o Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Satanta High School with Minister Jay Hall presiding.

Friends may sign the register from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Haskell County Funeral Home.
