Experience: Firefighter for LFD for five years, was a volunteer in Nebraska for several years and wildland firefighting in Montana
Hometown: Grant, Neb.
Education: EMT, vehicle extracation and rope rescue 
Hobbies: camping and anything outdoor and playing Xbox.
Why firefighting? “I didn’t know I wanted to be a firefighter until I started doing wildland firefighting. When I moved back home from Montana, I got on the volunteer fire department and loved it. So, that is what I decided I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
